SYL Open Board Positions

SYL is looking to fill the following board positions:

**Director - U14 Girls & U12 Boys

Responsibilities - Attend monthly board meetings, scheduling games with other towns (between 8-12) games, communication with families regarding important dates, weekly schedules & any changes, practice cancelation, etc. Verifies referees for home games (date/time/location). Director does not need to be a coach. 

**3rd Annual LaxJam 2026 Tournament Director (Boys & Girls U8)

Responsibilities - Tournament Director will be in charge of getting our annual planned with help from other board members & U8 Families including - reaching out to other towns to get teams signed up, soliciting vendors (Food, Drink, Garbage, Recycling & other goods), scheduling for tournament day

**Registrar - 2027 & Beyond - our current registrar will be stepping down at the end of the 2026 season, we need someone to start to learn from her so they can take over her roll for 2027 and beyond. Responsibilities - updating registration for the new year. This person should be able to navigate the Crossbar website and update information as needed. They will also be responsible for sending out communication from Crossbar directly to families as needed.
