Free Girls’ Sunday Night Lacrosse
by posted 06/29/2009

Free Girls’ Sunday Night Lacrosse
3rd-6th Grades
@Henry James Middle School
5:30-7:30
July 11th – August 23rd
Come out and join us each Sunday evening for an “informal”, coach controlled lacrosse scrimmage. Volunteers from Simsbury Youth Lacrosse teams will introduce the sport to any child wishing to take part in the program, help refine the skills of already established youth players and ultimately provide a fun-filled learning environment for all the girls involved.
This is an optional, drop-in program and we are encouraging as many girls to make it each week as possible. The intent is to simply play lacrosse games (that will be coach controlled to introduce team concept in the sport of girls’ lacrosse) and have FUN! We understand there will be weeks due to vacations, etc. that will be difficult so just show up when you can.
Equipment needed:
·         Lacrosse Stick
·         Goggles
·         Mouthpiece
·         Cleats(not mandatory but recommended)
For more information email Crispin Panyard – or call 408-9062.
Please register at www.simslax.org as soon as possible so we can have an idea of who will be coming. Please do this even if you can’t make all the Sundays.

Dear Simsbury Lacrosse Families,

Thank you for your on-going participation in the program.  We truly hope your child(ren) had a positive experience this season.  In our on-going efforts to improve, we need your in-put.  We are asking each family to send us a brief evaluation of their children's coaches; the tryout process; schedules; and anything else you would like to comment on.  On the home page of our website, use the "Feedback" button to access a form that will make it easy to provide your comments.  Please include the name of the team your child played on and the names of the coaches.  Your feedback is essential.

Thanks for your continued support of the program.  Please let any of us know if you have questions.
